With background experience of Boko Haram insurgency that bedevilled the North-East Region of Nigeria years ago, especially its effect on issues of law and order; civil rights; and good governance, we created a human rights and advocacy practice unit to give special attention to the promotion of human rights, social justice and democratic ideals. This is informed by a sense of duty to our people and society in general.

A team of young lawyers have been dedicated to this unit under a competent lead to focus on Fundamental Rights Enforcement; Legal Aid; Justice for the Poor and Vulnerable (in partnership with relevant stakeholders); as well as Good Governance Advocacy Initiatives.
