Balarabe is a lawyer and retired Commissioner of Police. He obtained Master’s Degree in Security and Strategic Studies (MPSS), from University of Ilorin, Master’s Degree in Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice (MLC), ABU, Zaria. LLB (BUK), BL Nigerian Law School and currently a Ph.D candidate at Bayero University, Zaria.
CP Nayaya (rtd.) joined legal practice as a Senior Associate at Bahama Chambers and heads the Criminal litigation unit of the firm.
Balarabe has worked as Crack Detective at Interpol Office, Lagos; Assistant Commissioner of Police (CID), Zamfara State; Assistant Commissioner of Police (Operations), Sokoto State; Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operations), Lagos State; Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operations), Kwara State; and Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, 2019. Before his retirement from service, he was the Commissioner of Police (Intelligence) at Force Intelligence Bureau (FIB) FHQ, Abuja, where he meritoriously disengaged from active Policing.
